Breath magazine 02

Building upon the truth set out in Breath 01 that Jonah was a type of Israel, in this issue we fleshed out the revelation by showing Jonah’s foreshadowing of Christ becoming Israel on the cross. We also solved the riddle of the gourd by demonstrating that it was a type of the law, which God sovereignly implemented for a limited time until the faith could come. We interviewed Stovall Weems who experienced a stunning encounter of the celebration of the Lord’s table in the third heaven. We also showed that the stones that would cry out in Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem on a donkey was a metaphor for the Gentiles, not a reference to actual, inanimate stones. Finally, we visited Elsworth Kelly’s “Austin,” a cruciform-shaped, secular chapel, and explored the spiritual underpinnings of why an avowed atheist would design and build such a thing.

The issue is sold out and no longer available.
