Breath Articles
But there is a spirit in man, the breath of the Almighty gives him understanding. Job 32.8
In 2017 and 2019, we self-published a high-end Christian art magazine entitled Breath. Our inaugural issue was groundbreaking. It was the first Christian publication that solved the riddle of the prophet Jonah, who stands as a type of the Israel. We also showed how Jesus’ enigmatic phrase of “This sickness will not end in death, but is for the glory of God” and Lazarus’s actual death fit into the Father’s divine plan of Christ being glorified on the cross.
Building upon the truths set out in Breath 01, we fleshed out the revelation of Jonah’s foreshadowing of Christ becoming Israel on the cross. We also solved the mystery of the gourd, showing it was a type of the Israel’s law, which God sovereignly implemented for a limited time until the faith could come. We interviewed Stovall Weems who experienced a stunning encounter of the celebration of the Lord’s table in the third heaven, and showed that the stones crying out was a metaphor for the Gentiles, not a reference to actual, inanimate stones. We also visited Elsworth Kelly’s “Austin,” a cruciform-shaped, secular chapel, and explored the spiritual underpinnings of why an avowed atheist would design and build such a thing.
The issues are sold out. We have reproduced the major articles, sans the photography, from both magazines here in PDF form.
